Polosatiy: Tell us about yourself. What is your realname? Who are you in real life? What's your non-quake occupation?
DH|Methos: My name is Daryl Wurzbacher, i am 16 years old and work as a Computer Programmer for local internet company. I also go to school full time and hang out with friends.
Polosatiy: What contensions did you take part in and what were the results?
DH|Methos: I participated in OGL, Liga and PGL. In OGL, the clan I was in was ranked #1 and had 10/0 record in the Modem Division. I was ranked #6 in Liga.net being HPB competing with LPBs , final record 36/3. In PGL, i was 1 round away from making it to the PGL Finalist, losing to RB-Ren 3/2.
Polosatiy: What computer do you have at home?
DH|Methos: I play on a PIII 550, with 128 mb ram and a VooDoo3 3000 video card.
Polosatiy: Do you train your skills at home, using internet, or do you go to computer clubs?
DH|Methos: At home, using internet. We don't have that many computer clubs in the US. We used to have one locally, but it went out of business.
Polosatiy: Have you played with any "legendary" players, like Thresh, Makaveli or Immortal. Have you won?
DH|Methos: I have played with Makaveli and Immortal before. At the time of playing them, i was HPB and they were LPB, so it wash't all that fair. I didn't do terribly bad against Makaveli, but he still won. Polosatiy - What you can say about Q3A? Do you like it?
DH|Methos: I have palyed it a little bit, good graphics but i still really enjoy Quake2 more :)
Polosatiy: Who do you think will rule in Q3A? Quake2-players or Quake1-players?
DH|Methos: I think it will be either, if someone is determined to practice then they will get good. I don't think it matters all that much which game you can from.
Polosatiy: Will play at the next big PGL-like championship?
DH|Methos: I'm not sure yet, it all depends on which games are going to be there. I'm not too into Quake3, so if they go with that i doubt it:(
Polosatiy: What can you tell us about the future of online-gaming?
DH|Methos: I think as more and more people get on the internet, online gaming will increase a lot and its possible that down the road there could be some "Quake3 Hightlights" on ESPN2 ! hehe
Polosatiy: Do you think your future occupations would be computer-related?
DH|Methos: Of couse, I plan to pursue a computer programming related field, especially online ecommerce or database driven stuff.
